One more day of learning

Oh, the earlier post below, is a part from the script of Monty Python’s Holy Grail movie. I really like that one, especially the “very small rocks”.

This popped into my mind this afternoon when I was just chattering with few class-mates. It all started from our professor’s rant about this one tea, Lipton Yellow Label, that is so bad it should be illegal. He told us how they do prepare the tea from fields to the jar we have at home. He was very presice when he described how they pack the premium tea and how the “every day drinks” and then told that the tea they use for Lipton Yellow Label MUST be the tea that the cleaning lady brushes off the floor of the storage.. Well, then he told us that he had found even worse tea that must be the floor itself.

Anyway, we were talking about the stereotype of an Englishman drinking tea (our professor is from Scotland, but anyway..). Then a classmate pointed out that this stereotype was absurd (this guy himself is an Englishman……) and that it was just as good as “All palestinians throw rocks”. Due to the fact it was afternoon and we had had two almost three hour lextures, we were bit tired and were laughing on the floor (two literally!). It was funny at a time: Englishman basically saying:”Tea drinking englishmen are jsut the same as rock throwing palestines”. The funny was the image we all had in our head. We were thinknig about this blue-blooded old gentleman who is called Sir Broderick or what ever and on the other hand palestinians standing up against the occupying army with just their courage and rocks. I bet neither of them would like to be compared to the other.

Well, those rocks led to the “very small rocks” thought and we were doing the scene while we were walking to the next class..
