Nokia Communicator talk: E90 and 9500

I did write stuuf about the E90 Communicator earlier, but now I think I have more to say about the gadget. I found out that the Navi software’s route advisory thing is extra you have to buy. Well, as I suspected, you can only buy a license for a week, few week, month, couple months, year or few years. Which in a way is good, but I still hope there would be a possibility to just buy the shole thing and never worry again.. AND you can buy it only for a specific region, which sucks. If you travel a lot around the world and like to use it for navigating around, you need to buy multiple licenses, if I got it right. I’d rather pay one larger lump sum for something like Navicore Personal navigation software. Sure this license thing suits lot of people, but since it’s not what I want, it sucks for me..
We spent Juhannus with friends and family, well drove to meet friends and then to see family, and I did use navigator to get where we were going. This means I had my Nokia 9500 with Rikaline bluetooth GPS unit in car, 9500 without simcard, for navigating to the destination. It’s not that big deal since they were in car all the time and I did not have to have the 9500 around for calls or messages. The Navicore software and navigation was just as great as I remembered, everything did work out just fine. Because of this I did not use the E90 Communicator at all for the navigation, why bother when I had better stuff available? I did of course have the E90 as my phone with me and did talk with it, message with it and even took few pictures and bit of video too. The camera in E90 is simply awesome as a phone camera and even though there is even better ones available, no other has all the stuff I need in one phone. 
All in all the BIGGEST improvements in E90 over the 9500 are the new better camera, new lot better web browser, 3G connections (emails just fly compared to the old 9500…) and design is a killer. I also do like the S60 because you can use all of the software either in the inside big screen or in the little front screen. SOmetimes you just like to do stuff without having to open the mini-brick.
My phone is the “Mocca” version, the red was bit too porn for me. 
Still quite good looking piece of equipment, but not my color. I have been taking quite a few photos with the E90 and have even posted some here too. You can see more in my Flickr album (link in sidebar..) if you want to see them, if not don’t bother.
